Government Services

There are three levels of government agencies that help Canadians with services. On a municipal level, the governments of Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe administer local legislation and handle things like parks, snow plowing, street paving, water and sewage and garbage pickup. On a New Brunswick level, Service New Brunswick offers help with items the province is responsible for such as health care and driver’s licenses. On a Canadian level, Service Canada focuses on federal government responsibilities like passports and Social Insurance cards.

Wants to Stay in Welcoming City

“As an international student I graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in International Management. I have enjoyed every part of my studies and I am still enjoying living in Greater Moncton. It is a welcoming city and I have already made friends and am enjoying the kindness and openness of the people. The CAFI program I was in helped me to get the tools I need to get a job and perhaps stay here.”
